BDCM CARDBOARD BOXES PRODUCT DETAILS

In the bustling realm of retail, clothing, and catalogue trades, the Bulk Distribution Carton Metric (BDCM) boxes have emerged as indispensable standard items, with many retailers only accepting merchandise packaged in these specifically designed cartons. These boxes, set as the industry standard sizes, serve as optimal choices for packing and storing clothes and garments especially. Moreover, they feature dotted lines demarcating the designated area for panel removal, aiding in efficient picking within warehouses. We offer two references of BDCM boxes, each tailored to ensure efficiency, resilience, and seamless functionality within the industry and with your customers.

Our BDCM series comprises two sizes: BDCM1 595x289x390mm and BDCM2 394x292x394mm. Both are crafted with precision and feature standardised printed information in blue ink on one side. These prints are tailored to accommodate essential details such as supplier information, catalogue number, item colour, size, quantity, and contact details. They also are printed with dotted lines to indicate where to cut out a panel for picking in warehouses.

Constructed from high-quality single-wall cardboard, our BDCM boxes guarantee sturdiness and reliability. These cartons are designed to seamlessly fit standard-size pallets, facilitating the creation of level, stable loads—ideal for transportation and storage needs.

We offer bulk orders for these fashion boxes, ensuring substantial cost savings for our B2B clientele. Our commitment to providing efficient, standardised packaging solutions remains unparalleled in the market.

In a highly competitive landscape, choosing the right packaging can significantly impact supply chain efficiency and satisfaction among your customers. Our BDCM boxes stand as a testament to our dedication to enhancing industry standards, ensuring optimal functionality and fostering seamless operations within the retail and catalogue trades.

How to measure a box?

When measuring a cardboard box, it is important to consider three key dimensions: length, width and height. These measurements provide the internal dimensions of the carton, allowing you to define the space available to pack products and ensure they fit properly.

The dimensions provided on our website are in Millimetres and are following the order LENGTH x WIDTH X HEIGHT.

To measure correctly a cardboard box follow these instructions:

1. Length: start by measuring the longest side of the box base

2. Width: rotate the box 90 degres and measured the other side of the box base

3. Height:measure the distance from the base to the top

What is our Circular Design Metrics?

One of the most important principles of the circular economy is designing for circularity, which involves products and services being designed with their end-of-life in mind, making it easier to recover and regenerate materials.

DS Smith has developed a series of circular design metrics which give us an accurate picture of the degree of implementation of circular design principles in the production of our packaging solutions and provide quantifiable data to show how circular a given packaging solution is and allow quick identification of the areas of improvement required.

Our Circular Design Metrics measure Supply Chain Optimisation, Recyclability, Planet Safety, Material Utilisation, Renewable Sources, Recycled Content, the Carbon Footprint and Design for Reuse.

* This circularity information was made by using the information of an average single wall box.
